I’m a Verizon Wireless customer and I need a new phone, specifically a PDA phone. Their selection is a bit outdated. There are no Windows Mobile 6 phones, there are EVDO Rev. A phones, and the best phone they had, the Samsung i730, is no longer available on their website.
I have the Verizon Wireless PPC-6600. It’s old, but it’s a good phone. The screen is big, it’s thinner than most of the PDA phones currently available, and it supports EVDO for easy web access.
There are a few great looking phones coming out, the Samsung i760, and the HTC PPC-6800, are both coming to Verizon. When are they coming out? Nobody knows. It’s pretty frustrating. I want to get a new phone, and I don’t want any of the models that are currently offered. Thus I am at Verizon’s mercy to get a new one.
If you’re a PDA phone user with Verizon I’m sure you feel my pain, so for now you can only look at the pictures while you wait for them to be released.
