Free Redbox Movie Rentals

The Redbox movie rental kiosks that you see around are a great way to rent DVDs. It’s only $1 for a rental and there are enough kiosks around (12,000 nationwide) that one is almost always closer than a video rental store. They are so popular in fact, Universal is suing them because they are so successful. As a studio, “Why would I help you build a business that charges a dollar for a product I’m trying to sell for $20?”

This month they are giving away free rentals on Sundays at Walmart based kiosks. Find a kiosk near you.

Every Sunday, get a free Redbox DVD rental by using the codes below at any Walmart with a Redbox kiosk.

Comedy Central Puts Content On Hulu

It took them awhile but when Fox and NBC teamed up to create Hulu they did it right. The content on the site is good and plentiful, the advertising is short and infrequent, and the video quality and load times are great. There isn’t much you can say bad about Hulu.

Viacom obviously took notice of this and has thrown their two most popular shows onto Hulu, The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. There are currently 11 episodes of The Daily Show and 12 episodes of The Colbert Report for you to watch and enjoy. There hasn’t been anything said about whether or not Viacom will add more shows from Comedy Central or even if the might add content from their MTV network.

The great thing about Hulu is that they allow you to embed their videos just like youtube does. So enjoy this episode of The Colbert Report brought to you by Teckh.com.
